This page explains the process that the platform follows to offer a support plan.
The platform actively seeks the sign up of support plans when orders are completed or the existing subscription is about to expire. It does so basically by two different means: System warnings within the platform & email notifications.
You can find out if the system is currently chasing a support plan subscription by looking at the support plan summary box:
If that screen displays “Offered? No”, it means that no support plan is being offered, either by system warnings or email notifications.
The conditions that make an order eligible for offering a support plan are:
- The order is going to be locked down shortly.
- There isn’t any other support plan subscription, active or inactive.
