We have three main updates this week, which complete the first sprint of updates planned this summmer.

Revisions panel on image screen

The artists complained about how difficult it is to upload a revision, it used to take them too many steps for such a simple task. We’ve recently updated this so it’s possible to upload several revisions in just one gesture.

The example below shows how 3 images are uploaded and identified as revisions of existing items. To use this feature you just need to give the new image the same file name as the main version.

Notification settings

This is a feature that was requested by our clients. It’s now possible for them to manually unsubscribe from some or all of the orders they’re part of.

By default, a client will receive notifications from all the orders where they’ve been included.

Finally, it’s possible to unsubscribe from all notifications in current and future orders with the “Disable all notifications” checkbox. This allows them to preserve the access to the order without getting any undesired messages in their inbox.

It’s also possible for admins to adjust the notification settings of any user.

Project managers need to know that some of the clients may not be notified when a message is posted, the screenshot below shows how Client #2 isn’t subscribed. This means that the user can read the message by browsing to the platform, but the email notification won’t be sent.

There’s one exception where a user might be notified even if these are disabled, that’s when a notification is sent manually and the person sending it explictly selects the client as a recipient.

Comment replies

The comments made on a client’s request are now visible from the image screen. When a comment is created, a notification is sent with a link to this.

Other updates

  • Improved the links on the top bar so they’re easy to display on small devices.
  • On the screens to manage previews, we now show the images in a grid rather than the former vertical list.

We also have couple of updates completed by our latest joining David Santacruz.

  • Improved the email template for password recovery, added Visrez branding like all other notifications.
  • Clients now have a search bar to find their orders, just as we do on the admin side.
